At Roscoe, we know who we have to thank for 96 years of success in the work uniform rental business. But sometimes just saying “thank you” isn’t enough.
That’s why, for more than 15 years, we’ve been setting aside a day every month or so to show our customer appreciation with more than just words. We find that it means more when you can deliver a thank you with four giant Damenzo’s pizzas.
That was the feeling we got recently at a Customer Appreciation Day and pizza party we hosted for one of our clients whose employees have been wearing our uniforms ever since firing their national supplier about six years ago. The client, which manufacturers gears for many different industries, has a voluntary uniform policy, so we knew we were doing something right when the number of employees choosing to rent our uniforms doubled – and then tripled.
Our Clients Don’t Have to Think About Work Uniforms
We wanted to say thank you, and in Roscoe tradition, that often includes food. Sometimes it’s pizza. Sometimes it’s doughnuts. Sometimes we pull up with a propane grill on a trailer and host a cookout. We even have our own popcorn popper.
Our Customer Appreciation Days also provide us with an opportunity to get on-the-ground feedback from the people who wear our uniforms every day. We conduct a short survey and make inquiries about any issues that require follow-up. We want to know what we’re doing right and what we could be doing better. We know how important it is to get the details right – and to make sure that each customer gets the service they need so that they can get to work every day without having to think about work uniforms.
We work hard to get things right. If that means extra pepperoni, we’re on it.
If you don’t feel appreciated by your uniform supplier, maybe you’ve got the wrong supplier.
