Among other efforts, the Textile Rental Service Association (TRSA) is using its on-demand learning program to bring together industry leaders to share knowledge and best practices for protecting employees, customers and the public.
And while it’s a discussion that is happening across the world in virtually every industry, the uniform and linen supply sector plays a unique role in efforts to minimize the spread of the virus and to promote the sense of safety and well-being that will be critical to efforts to get back to work.
In a series of recent teleconferences, the TRSA brought together industry leaders to build on a longstanding commitment to health and safety in face of the coronavirus threat.

Roscoe Industry Leaders Share COVID-19 Best Practices
Buik and Roscoe team leaders Israel Cartagena and Jeff DeLazzer participated in the recent series, one of many TRSA professional development and training webinars, videos, and e-learning courses covering a range of topics including emerging compliance issues and best practices for safety and productivity.
Considered an essential business during the pandemic, industrial laundries provide much-needed services to their communities as a source of professionally cleaned and sanitized uniforms and linens, restroom supplies and floor mats for a wide range of other essential businesses.
Among other industry best practices we have implemented – and shared – Roscoe has expanded our hygienically clean practices to include all garments and floor mats. Our processes, built on industry recommendations and the latest guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, have also been revamped to incorporate social distancing, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and additional sanitizing of our trucks.
