If you’re looking for an alternative to the big national uniform providers, you probably have a pretty good idea of what you don’t want in a work uniform provider.
Missing uniforms, chronic billing issues and spotty customer service practices drive customers away from their national providers on a regular basis.
But it’s one thing to know you’re getting unacceptable service and another to figure out how to make sure it doesn’t happen again. How do you know your next provider won’t leave you pulling your hair out over the same sloppy practices?
You could ask around. You could search out customer reviews. You could give us a call and let us talk you through how we do things here at Roscoe. We’d be happy to do it.
But for real peace of mind, there is nothing quite as reassuring and convincing as seeing for yourself.
Your Work Uniform Problems Solved, Right Before Your Eyes!
At Roscoe, we love it when we get the opportunity to take prospective customers on a tour of our facilities. Because no matter how much we try to describe it, we’ve never been able to match the impact that meeting our team and seeing our processes in person seems to have on our prospects.
It’s not just our state-of-the-art wash floor and the high-tech, German sorting system that tracks and routes garments along a sleekly curving overhead path –though the Kannegiesser is an impressive piece of engineering. It’s as much about the other things you’ll see and many intangibles that can only be understood with a visit…
It’s the people you’ll meet, whose training, professionalism and pride show in the focus and diligence they bring to their work. Our team leaders have decades of experience in the industry and it shows. Our route service representatives (drivers) have an average tenure of more than 16 years – about 14 years longer than their counterparts at the national companies. While we may have invested in the most sophisticated technology to be found in the industry – anywhere in the world – our people are our most important investment. That’s the kind of thing companies love to say, but at Roscoe, we’ll introduce you. We’ve got an entire team of professionals who have made their careers with us. They’re not just employees, they are the industry experts in their field.
It’s the process. Watch carefully to note how many times a garment is scanned on its way through the process, its ultra-high frequency radio chip read and recorded. It’s scanned when received for cleaning and multiple times during the sorting and inspection process, and every time a garment requires special attention (repair, replacement or rewash). It’s scanned twice before delivery to ensure that each bundle contains exactly what it’s supposed to. Each garment is scanned as many as a dozen times in the process. That means we always know exactly where each garment is in our system and our customers don’t experience shortages. Our customers can see all garments picked up for cleaning and delivered clean each week via an internet portal.
It’s the culture. Our processes are ISO certifiedfor quality control. Our employees are trained and cross-trained and our policies, practices and processes are subjected to ongoing scrutiny and review as part of a company-wide culture devoted to continuous improvement. We are proud of what our customer satisfaction surveys say about us, but that doesn’t stop us from looking for ways to improve. Whether it’s safety or efficiency or environmental stewardship, we hold ourselves to a standard as painstaking and rigorous as the processes our uniforms undergo. Because we don’t just want to be your work uniform provider, we want to be a company you’ll be proud to work with.
