Though on purpose, we’re fortunate to have assembled a talented group that has led to a fun culture that’s team-oriented. We all Take Pride, which is why it’s our tagline.
We do “stoopid” teambuilding games with Bruce Hodes of CMI to help ensure that we all work as an effective team, especially considering our diverse backgrounds. We also launch new strategic initiatives every year, similar to Joe Maddon’s belief that the 2016 Chicago Cubs could make the playoffs with last year’s prophetic Embrace the Target mantra, and we achieve them because of how well we work together and how we incentivize our team to go above and beyond.
Celebrating Wins
As with the Cubs after every win, we celebrate our victories: landing a new account (especially when underserved by a national rental service provider), renewing an existing account, individual performances of excellence, and completing each strategic initiative.
We also recognize tenure and loyalty – many of our employees have been with us for over 20 years – in fact, 20 were in attendance at our 95th anniversary celebration. And, since many of us are Cubs fans, we take both team members and customers to games and use Cubs tickets as prizes for internal campaigns.
