The Roscoe Company was proud to recently host fellow members of the Independent Textile Rental Association (ITRA) from the United States and Canada. Sharing best practices with the industry goes back generations with the Buik family and Roscoe’s ISO 9001 Certified facility is a great platform for suppliers to test and showcase cutting edge technology.
We split the 120 ITRA members into smaller groups, each group spending about ten minutes at six stations, which included the automated wash floor, textile finishing, automated garment sorting, stockroom, waste water treatment facility, and the administrative service area. Several vendor partners were on site to provide information about their products and services. The tour took about an hour and we received many positive comments about it, for which we take pride.
One attendee had this to say: “I’ve wanted to see your operation for some time, as your EMI (Executive Management Institute) attendees are always so impressive, and prideful of your culture. To say the tour was impressive just doesn’t do it. Your team culture of excellence, continuous improvement and customer experience centricity are so far beyond what I typically see in the industry. Your plant flow, process efficiency, social responsibility, and quality culture are just plain second to NONE. As a previous operator, I would have envied your competitive position. So impressed, and proud to know you. Thanks for what you do for our industry – in continually raising the bar!”
